On 6th April 2014 Jude Parker demonstrated how to make this pattern on pendants

Jude teaches regularly at the London Polymer Clay group and is particularly inventive with her clay.  These pieces had not yet been demonstrated to any group so we were very privileged to have her bring her ideas to us.

This was a quite brilliant workshop, details of which can be seen on the Welsh claydays page (see menu on the left)

ClayAround went to the Cheshire Weavers and Spinner's Guild to present a workshop - my sincere thanks to them for inviting me.

Outstanding was the work by Rose, Beryl's daughter, (See the image on the right.  Beryl has cheated by not telling us which is Rose's work although I do know the pieces top right are Rose's!) We do have to thank Beryl, however, for facilitating the photos (my camera ran out of memory!)

It was almost entirely beginners and in the slide show below are some examples of the work that was produced.  (My apologies for not adding names to the work - there were too may to remember!)

And finally I must show you the wonderful pieces produced by Ane Fenton.  She tells me she came to the previous demonstration I did in 2011 and since then has produced these quite lovely Christmas Nativity figures:
